Don't Be Scared by How Bad These Picks Are

There, that's my one Halloween pun for the entire blog.

Also vote for Truman the Tiger in the Capital One Mascot Challenge. The winner gets $20,000 for their mascot scholarship program... http://www.capitalonebowl.com/vote

College Week 10
Kansas State over Oklahoma State - if the fairy tale was going to end for the Kittycats, it'd be this week, but I can't bring myself to see a scenario where this would happen.
Texas Tech over Texas - Texas almost lost to kansas... I'll repeat that for the hard of hearing, Texas almost lost to kansas.
Alabama over LSU - last year's regular season game was 6-3... both defenses got better, Alabama's offense got better, LSU's did not. You do the math.
Clemson over Duke - Duke is still in first place in their division... I'll repeat that for the hard of hearing, Duke is in first place. This could be a preview of the ACC Championship game.
Oklahoma over Iowa State - I would not want to play the Sooners right now.
Penn State over Purdue - At 0-4 in the Big10, Purdue can still make the Big10 Championship. At 3-1, Penn State can not. Don't try to do the math.
Nebraska over Michigan State - Nebraska might end up in the Rose Bowl because apparently no one else who can play in it wants to.
Oregon State over Arizona State - The Beavers have gone back to the backup that carried them through some tough games, this one could go either way if he plays like a backup.
Oregon over USC - We will find out if USC can play defense, and if Matt Barkley can put up numbers against a quality opponent.
Mississippi State over Texas A&M - The Aggies three conference wins were against Auburn, Arkansas and Ole Miss. The Bulldogs three conference wins were against Auburn, Kentucky and Tennesse. We see which team wants to be in third place in the SEC West.

Last Week: 5-5 (21 pts)
Season: 55-35 (335 pts.)

NFL Week 9
Chargers over Chiefs - LOCK of the week, of course.
Broncos over Bengals - I almost locked in the Broncos, but this is a road game and the Bengals aren't bad.
Ravens over Browns - We've done this already. Are there really two games this week featuring division rivalries that have already been played this season?
Packers over Cardinals - How many times do you think Larry Fitzgerald contemplated sneaking into a Packers uniform this week?
Bears over Titans - We are another week closer to uttering the phrase "Super Bowl MVP Jay Cutler." Weird.
Colts over Dolphins - First upset pick. The Colts have played very well at home this year. Also, did you realize they are in second place? They are currently a playoff team. Seriously.
Redskins over Panthers - Cam Newton, meet your better.
Lions over Jaguars - Every weekend I wonder how Blaine Gabbert would have held up in the SEC... probably not well.
Texans over Bills - Arian Foster for 160 yards and 2 TDs.
Buccaneers over Raiders - The Gruden's Former Teams bowl... awkward.
Seahawks over Vikings - Second upset pick. Love the Seahawks defense this year and I'm not impressed by Minnesota's offense.
Giants over Steelers - The Steelers have not won back to back games this year, FYI.
Falcons over Cowboys - still not picking against the undefeated team.
Saints over Eagles - Michael Vick for 3 turnovers and 7 other "face-palm" moments.

Last Week: 9-5
Season: 72-45
