I was thinking if I should wait on these because there are so many huge games tonight, including a few bids being handed out (WCC - Gonzaga vs. St. Mary's, MAAC - Siena vs. Niagra, SoCon - Charleston vs. Chattenooga), but I decided it didn't matter when, it would be hard to explain either way. Before I was using the leader in the conference as the automatic bid, things have changed. The #1 seed in the tournaments, if they haven't been eliminated, are the automatic bids. If they've been eliminated (or in Davidson's case, if the favorite to win has been eliminated) they are not being considered unless they meet the other criteria (receiving top 25 votes or top 65 of the RPI). This week I will present it by potential seed and potential match-up. (* = automatic bid, BOLD = already in)
